American Sheep Industry Association (ASI)
ASI is the national organization representing the interests of more than 100,000 sheep producers located throughout the U.S. From East to West, pasture-based flocks to range operations, ASI works to represent the interests of all producers. ASI is a federation of 45 state sheep associations as well as individual members. It is the American Wool promotional organization.
American Solar Grazing Association (ASGA)
ASGA was founded to promote grazing sheep on solar installations.
ASGA members are developing best practices that support shepherds and solar developers to both effectively manage solar installations and create new agribusiness profits.
National Lamb Feeders Association (NLFA)
NLFA was founded in 1950 by several sheep industry veterans. Their dream was to form an organization that would support the growth and expansion of an industry steeped in tradition and rich in history, ensuring its viability for future generations.
The NLFA's mission is "To be the voice of the nation’s lamb feeders, connecting policy with the industry, advocating for our membership and supporting consumer and industry education, research and product promotion."
National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP)
The mission of NSIP is "to provide predictable, economically important genetic evaluation information to the American sheep industry by converting performance records into relevant decision-making tools."
National Sheep Industry Improvement Center (NSIIC)
The NSIIC mission is to improve the infrastructure of the U.S. sheep industry by strengthening and enhancing the production and marketing of sheep and sheep products.
North American Meat Institute (NAMI)
NAMI is a national trade association that represents companies that process 95% of red meat and 70% of turkey products in the US and their suppliers throughout America.
Headquartered in metropolitan Washington, DC, NAMI keeps its fingers on the pulse of legislation, regulation and media activity that affects the meat and poultry industry and provides rapid updates and analyses to its members to help them stay informed. In addition, NAMI conducts scientific research through its Foundation designed to help meat and poultry companies improve their operations and their products. The Institute's many meetings and educational seminars also provide excellent networking and information-sharing opportunities for members of the industry.

US Meat Export Federation (USMEF)
The mission of USMEF is “to increase the value and profitability of the U.S. beef, pork and lamb industries by enhancing demand for their products in export markets through a dynamic partnership of all stakeholders.” Simply put, USMEF is “Putting U.S. Meat on the World’s Table.”
